KEtamine
Engaging Your Inner Healer
Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy can help break through common barriers experienced in traditional talk therapy and can lead to profound insights, emotional breakthroughs, and changed beliefs.
Progress in therapy is often complicated by defense mechanisms developed to keep the individual safe. While they do a great job protecting the client from living in their pain, they can act as a barrier to accessing painful or traumatic beliefs and experiences.
Within the safety of the therapeutic container, a ketamine induced state enables the client to approach difficult emotions or experiences more effectively. In this altered state of consciousness, the mind has more flexibility to make connections, increase insight, and relate to experiences differently. Your inner wisdom will guide you to the healing that needs to take place.
Psychedelics have been used for centuries to elicit spiritual awakening and self-understanding. KAP can be an important part of one's personal growth as they connect to their inner wisdom and inner healing
Ketamine sessions are 2 1/2 hours and require a 50-minute integration session within 48 hours. Integration sessions are offered at the talk therapy rate. You can read more about this transformational medicine here or schedule a consultation using the link below to discuss whether KAP is right for you.
“Psychedelics show you what’s in and on your mind, those subconscious thoughts and feelings that are hidden, covered up, forgotten, out of sight, maybe even completely unexpected, but nevertheless imminently present.”
-Rick Strassman
Fees & payment
Therapy is $225 for 50-minute sessions. I believe that therapy should be accessible and have sliding scale spots reserved for those with demonstrated needs.
Payment is accepted in the form of Zelle, Venmo, and all major credit cards. Payment is due in full at the time of service.
I am considered an out-of-network provider by insurance companies. Some insurance companies will issue the client a reimbursement to cover a portion of the cost of sessions. If you would like to use your insurance, please contact your insurance or employee benefits provider and check your coverage carefully by asking the following questions:
-
Do I have mental health insurance benefits?
-
What is my deductible and has it been met?
-
How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
-
What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
-
Is approval required from my primary care physician?
